  1. As a group you will co-construct your leaning about your chosen Global topic.
  2. Over the next 5 days, you will research your topic in relation to PEPS and using the Success Criteria as a guide.
  3. All research will have to be sourced and put into jot notes.

1.  Physical-Physical Landscape of the Earth

(location, country size, time zone, natural resources, import and physical landforms, climate)

HI evey one I am so excited to be in this group I am going to try and get us started

Here is a picture on what people have to drink.

- adults are getting sick from drinking the water because of the land is formed

- in the land is dry which is typical is countries located in Africa

- women and children need to walk long distances such as 7 km to collect water

- diseases in the water

- water is a natural resource

2.  Economic- Forms of Trade, work or any money related activities

(currency, GDP, major exports and imports, literacy rate etc.)

- poverty is a concern

- children in this generaton have to collect water which means they cannot go to school

- when these chldren become adults they cannot support their own family because they do not have an education

- a cycle of poverty continues

- this a result of not having clean water

-2.5 dont have acsess to clean water

3.  Political- Government Activities, laws, or any symbols related to these activities

(forms of government, capital city, political leaders)

- Did you know that estimated) one point one  billion people  (one sixth) of the worlds population

have no choice but have to drink unsafe water every day.

-Also unfortunately that about "1000" children under the age of five die every day because they dont have acsess to clean water.

General governments around the world and even developing countrys around the world have been donating water. Also that every 15 seconds a

child dies.

-The info that I have tiped was based on the article "THE HUMAN RIGHT TO WATER" and my group and I will try to

site this info.

4.  Social- People and the cultures, beliefs and traditions that define them

(languages, religion, celebrations, recreation, values, immigration, population etc.)

- girls/women have to walk 7km and carry 20kg of water.

- leaves them less time to socialize

-and to just be a kid and not having to worry about dying

- Or supporting their family when their in a situation like right now with their family being grandparents and parents

- It's a cycle of children supporting their family

Everyone needs to continue to research and highlight in your own words the key ideas in jot notes from what you are reading (books or websites). Your research at this time should not include inferences. Use PEPS as a lense to guide you through your reading.

Hey guys, I'm not in your group either, but Siraya and Vincent are in my business day group, so I thought that I should say thanks to everyone who did this work so we can use it in our business day idea as planned. So thank you for doing the work for us. And thanks to Ms. T and Ms. Rambaran for setting up this wiki for us and for all the hard work they have done gathering resources for our different groups and teaching us so much about how you can work on the internet. Thanks everyone!
