Hunger - draft

World hunger is as dangerous to people as any disease, and yet so far there is no medicinal cure for such a horrible thing. There is a cure for hunger, but people choose to ignore it and instead spend their money on nuclear warfare. Did you know that for the price of one missile a school full of children could have lunch every single day for five whole years? And imagine how many missiles we buy a year. We could probably feed a school breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday for ten years! Hunger is a very real problem, and there is a foolproof cure. It starts with you.

Physical

Hunger can be related to the landscape, temperature, country size, location, time zones, natural resources, physical landforms, or climate. The landscape can be different for different countries. For example, if a place is too hot, cold, dry, or wet, food just will not grow. Africa suffers from climate change.  Also Haiti  they have has  nothing to export to the other countries, then they will have no imports to use to feed themselves, and they will not get money to purchase food, therefore continuing  their cycle of hunger and poverty.

Economical

Millions of people worldwide suffer from hunger and poverty. If it took you 9 seconds to read this, then 3 children have already died of starvation. Families in African, Asian, and Latin countries are in absolute poverty. Incredibly, 40000 people live on about $1.00 a day to survive. As said before, for the price of one missile which is $58,000,we could feed an entire school of children lunch every day for five years. since families only have $1.00 a day food is not the only priority.Since countries in south Africa are underdeveloped .They rely on other foreign countries for imported goods. But south Africa is one of the biggest exporting in diamonds and gold. South Africa imports Machinery, equipment chemicals, Petroleum products Scientific instruments, and foods.

Political

Some of the places around the world such as Somalia does not have a government strong enough to provide them with food or good jobs to make money so they are stuck in poverty. Some  of the political leaders aren't strong enough and most don't care if their citizens are hungry they only care about themselves; for example one year a political leader didn't let imports come in from other countries because he wanted his country to support themselves without help after an earthquake. A lot of adults work for food for example when an adult builds schools, digs wells, and make roads and they get paid with very little food in return for a whole day of work. In the world there is a lot of food but people live in severe poverty.  They can't get food and when someone doesn't eat and get all the nutrients that they need they will get sick which is even worse because in has a chain affect when a person is sick they can't go to work so they don't get money and if they have children they would not eat at all and would have to work instead of their parents

 Social

Some people that are hungry pray to god for food and do ceremonies. The population is one big problem because if one mother were to have more then one or two children she would not be able to feed the whole family and if she did they would all eat a little and they would eat from the same bowl .Also they would all have to eat out of the same bowl.a fact that we researched up is It took the world thousands of years to reach a population level of 1 billion. By 1950, the world's population grew to 2 billion. So the population doubled in just 50 years. By 1975, we had 4 billion people.another fact that is very horrible is The number of hungry people increased between 1995-97 and 2004-06 .
